Vocab Blast!: Countries and Movies

안녕하세요!

Good day everyone! I am excited to announce that I am probably going to be posting a little bit more consistently: I am to post on Wednesday. That way you know what is going on and know what to expect next! Plus, it gives you a week to go over what we just learned and practice it to be ready for the next week! (Plus, I have to let it all sink in as well and figure out what I want to do next. Do you know how many entries I have planned already? I just have to get to writing them.)

ANYWAY! It is time!
ANOTHER VOCAB BLAST.

I know last time the set up was a little weird, but I think I figured out a way to fix it.
Tables.
So now they should look better!  So let’s get to it!

First, we are going to show Korean words for COUNTRIES! These are really fun because some of these sound similar to the English version, and some don’t at all. It is really a toss up.
I also want to state that I am sorry – I am not posting all countries. There are SO MANY. But if you want to know the name of a country and I didn’t post, feel free to ask and I can add it. ^.^

I am covering the ones that I learned on 90DayKorean and maybe a few more. (If I saw a country on my visitor stats, then I looked up theirs as well. Hopefully I have gotten all that have visited at least.)

Word

And for those who are interested:
Country – 나라

Next list:

Types of movies (some vocab words that I had on KoreanClass101 that I found interesting and fun to share).

Action – 액션 Animation/Cartoon – 만화
Horror Movie (old phrase) – 공포영화 Romantic Comedy – 로맨틱코미디
Horror (more common) – 호러 Suspense – 서그펜스

And for those who are curious:
Movie – 영화

Alright, that’s all I have for today. But I think I like this set up just a little bit more. Makes a little more sense, no?

We’ll see. Until next time!
